Dutch government does not speak the truth on MH17 and is ignorant
On Oktober 15 the member of Dutch Parliament on Foreign Affairs could ask questions to the Dutch government on MH17. The Government was represented by Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Safety & Justice and Defense.
Some shocking ignorance by the Minister of Safety & Justice Ivo Opstelten was revealed. He was not aware the local recovery services/firebrigade in the MH17 crash area documented their activities in logbooks. The maps they made are in possession of the Dutch. However Opstelten was not aware of existence of logbooks.
That is remarkable as RTL Nieuws was able to see the logbooks at September 3 and reported about that in the public. RTL also found out the Dutch never contacted the local authorities who did the recovery.
Back to what the ministers of the Dutch government told.
-Keep on telling the situation at the crash site is unsafe and not stable enough for investigations. Several journalists have visited the crash site over the months and reported no issues on safety. Opstelten told the recovery mission stated on Monday October 13 could not be done on Tuesday because of the safety situation. However Dutch journalist Vincent Verweij visited two places near the crash site (Rosypne and Grabova.) on Tuesday and reported it was quiet. Some shootings far away. Also in September several journalist visited the site. See my blog.
None of the members of Parliament asked in what why is determined that the situation is unsafe. Dutxh intelligence agencies AIVD and MIVD are monitoring but are not onsight. OSCE is monitoring East Ukraine but hardly ever reports on the situation at the crash site.
Since Agust 6 the OSCE has been twice near the crash site. Once a car was damaged by mortar, on the other occasion the area was quiet. At October 1 OCSE mission reported
Minister Timmermans explained that this weekend all of a sudden there was an opportunity to start searching for personal belongings. Why was this all of a sudden and why could the searching not be done earlier since August 6?
-Defense Minister Hennis tells the separatists gained space and Ukraine forces had to retreat. Not true, the reverse is true. The Ukraine army started an offensive into the crash site as soon as the bodies were in Kiev controled area. See a detailled proof for that here. On Monday October 13 a OSCE member on the crash site even called Ukraine forces to stop shelling. After the phone call the shelling stopped.
-Minister Hennes keeps on stressing negotiations with the separatists should be done by the OVSE. The Malaysians reached a lot more by contacting those separatists directly.
-Hennes said there is no United Nations mandate for sending peace keeping troops to the crash site. Why and which countries are blocking sending UN troops?
Hennis did say that if it is not possible to reach site before winter a return in April should be reckon with. Confirming more or less what the Inspector General of the Malaysian police had stated earlier.

This is the question Higgins can’t answer: why no attempt to put MH17 pieces back together after hauling as many parts from the fuselage away in Kamaz trucks to Ukrainian-held territory for being airlifted to Netherlands or UK?
Seems Higgins is only interested in supporting one and only one theory and only bothers to ‘debunk’ air to air shoot down theory with the weakest of arguments.
