Question by member of parliament Omtzigt on prosecution MH17 suspects
At May 3 member of parliament Pieter Omtzigt and Raymond Knops, both of CDA political party, asked a question about MH17 to Minister of Foreign Affairs Koenders.
The Netherlands has a seat in the United Nations Security Council in 2018.
Omtzigt and Knops asks minister Koenders:
Bent u bereid om de vervolging en berechting van de daders van het neerhalen van vlucht MH17 op 17 juli 2014 tot een van de prioriteiten te maken van het Nederlands lidmaatschap in de veiligheidsraad, aangezien dezelfde veiligheidsraad in resolutie 2166 alle landen heeft opgeroepen volledige medewerking te verlenen aan de onderzoeken?
Are you prepared to make the prosecution and trial of the culprits of flight MH17 on July 17, 2014 one of the priorities of the Dutch Security Council, as the same Security Council called on all countries to fully cooperate in Resolution 2166 to the investigations?
