At December 11, 2017 Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko met his Dutch counterpart  on the  MH17 criminal investigation Fred Westerbeke and the head of Dutch police national investigation division Wilbert Paulissen in Kiev. I reported about this meeting here.

Lutsenko is one of the leading figures in Ukraine who are attempting to destroy anticorruption bureau  NABU by fighting anticorruption activists & officials. As a former member of parliament, Lutsenko in April 2016 was appointed as Prosecutor General by president Poroshenko.

Ukriane journalist Sergey Leshchenko made some interesting Tweets about this Yury Lutsenko recently.  Acoording to the journalist the Ukraine secret service was ordered by prosecutor Lutsenko, remember he met Dutch MH17 prosecutor recently, to find compromisng materials of the finance minister Oleksandr Danilyuk. Danilyuk is fighting against corruption. He is responsible for the arrest of Saakashvili.

Danilyuk, who helped Saakashvili set up a think tank in Kiev — which is now under investigation for suspected financial violations — has accused law-enforcement agencies of “putting pressure on business, on those who want to change the country.

As local media reported on July 31 2017, the Prosecutor General’s Office named Danylyuk a suspect in violating tax laws in 1998-2016 and initiating respective investigations back in early July. Danylyuk denied all the accusations. Early September the Prosecutor closed the case against the finance minister.

It seems now again Danylyuk is someone who needs to get rid of.

Yury Lutsenko is not the typical prosector like we are familiar with in Western countries. He has contacts with contacts among corrupted politicians like ex-member of Russian Duma Mr. Babakov (under sanctions in US) and ex-ally of ousted President Yanukovych Mr. Zubik. Yury Lutsenko met oligarch Igor Kolomoiskiy at  November 24, 2017  in Amsterdam.  According Lutsenko this was a coincidence. He just met Kolomoiskiy in the streets of Amsterdam he said it in the interview to Kolomoiskiy’s TV station. Lutsenko told press the reason for his visit to Amsterdam was medical.  Sources of journalist say they discussed Privatbank case and how to help Kolomoiskiy in High court’s case. Ukraine nationalized in December 2016 Privatbank, owned by Igor Kolomoiskiy . Since then Ukraine received 400 lawsuits after nationalization of Privatbank.
