Update June 15 2016: The next of kin still did not receive a reply.
A group of next of kin of MH17 victims send a letter at the end of January 2016 to president Poroshenko, Putin and Minister of Foreign Affairs John Kerry. In the letter the next of kin request to hand over satellite and radar data to the investigation team.
While Russia and the United States responded, Ukraine still did not respond (as per April 7 2016)

The next of kin requested the Ukraine ambassy in the Netherlands about the status of a reply by Poroshenko. They did not get a reply!

It is poetic that Dutch voters have stonewalled Poroschenko and his corrupt government. Unlike Rutte, 64% of Dutch people want no relationship with Ukraine.
Ukraine denies that their radar was working when MH17 was shot down. They have not denied that ATC recordings exist. Family members should ask Ukraine to hand over the recordings.
Familiy members did request Ukraine to hand over radar! They wrote a letter to Poroshenko, Putin and Kerry. Only Poroshenko failed to respond. Russia responded by a letter of the Russian aviation authority not send to family but published on Russia Today.

My point is that family members did not ask Ukraine to hand over ATC recordings. Ukraine does not deny the existence of ATC recordings. It will be harder for Ukraine to deny or ignore this request from family members, especially if the family members includes family members of the cabin crews.
It will be even more obvious from the ATC recordings that Ukraine’s ATC staff were not blind, that they in fact had functioning radar.
I remain curious about the 3 radar images that were received via anonymous email that are judged to be authentic and that have Ukrainian and Russian text. Why hasn’t Stichting Vliegramp MH17 gone public with these images?

We have no evidence that prove it, or do we?
Ukr ATC asked Rostov ATC if they see MH17.
If Ukr had functioning radar, what extra you think it could tell vs Rostov Primary radar?
Rostov radar show that MH17 flew normally and suddenly broke into pieces. Only plane/helicopter without a transponder was in RU side of the border.
We know missile came from ahead. If Ukr radar could pinpoint the exact location, they would have said it.
And according to official information:
-UA does not have a satellite or it’s data.
-UA said it did not have any primary radar data from the area
So… people seem to demand military radar data?
Perhaps they hope to see the exact origin of missile from the data, I think they are overly optimistic.
But sure, Petro should make some reply, even if he is busy with panamapapers.
