Ukraine wants to delay recognition of International Crime Court with three years

In December 2015 President Poroshenko stated that Ukraine wants to delay recognition of the International Crime Court in the Hague for  three years. This is a detailled post about Ukraine and ICC. This is the news in Dutch.

EU was amazed by this. One of the requirements for Ukraine to make the association treaty effective was that Ukraine accepts the ICC jurisdiction. More info at here.

In September 2015 Ukraine stated formally that the state will accept ICC jurisdiction over alleged crimes committed since 20 February 2014.
